That Changed My Life

The one I listen to the most.

That Changed My Life

POEM OF THE YEAR
High Is Where We Will Rise
High is where we will rise
Above the prejudice
Above the legislative
Decisions to cause us
Derision in our soul
To make our love grow cold
Because of their hatred
Their blatant blasphemy
Of “our’ God.
High is where we will rise
Above their enmity
The creative enemies’
Plot to make us a blot
Erased from the face
Of this country’s history
To make Christianity
A thing of the past
“No, It didn’t last”
Because “we” destroyed it
“We” deported it into oblivion
Never to raise again
Never to let it win
Over debauchery, carnality
“Immorality, Let It Reign!”
Spread the Pain
Of a coldhearted, lifeless,
Mindless Republic
Yet in spite of this
We will rise High above
the skyline of wickedness
Our ticket is
Christ
And
His sacrificed life
On the cross so some of us
Here in the states will not be lost
When the judgement for ours
Sins as a nation
Lead us to deprivation and desolation
Because we turned our back
On the only “God” who could
Save us
For the elect sake
Delay us Lord from
Annihilation
Like Esther let us pled
For our preservation
As a
people
Before a godless king.
Let us be willing
To give up everything
We have for the cause of Christ
Even our very lives
If it means it.
So the next generation
Can see “It”
With a clear conscience
Receive “It”
In His hand is a sword
Called the Word of God
Let them speak it
So some can believe it and
Their lives be spared
From the fear and dread
Of what is coming
And we can rise to new heights
High above we will rise
Above the mediocrity
The callous hearts and
Aristocracy
The Cheaters,
The Liers
The con artist in “Leadership”
Hatred among the races
We will rise and live out our Creed
“We hold these truths to be self-evident,
that all men are created equal”
And see Martin Luther King Jr’s
Dream come to pass at last
When Christ returns again
We will rise High above it all.
